Herricks High School Indian Cultural Club Gives Back to Women

The Herricks High School Indian Cultural Club is an organization open to all high schoolers who would like to learn about India and its variety of cultural practices and diversity. This group works together to create fun filled meetings that involve activities ranging from cooking different types of Indian foods, watching Indian films, learning and playing Indian card games, and discussing Indian culture and its affect on today’s youth.

Donation Check by Herricks High School Indian Cultural Club

This club chose to donate their savings at the end of the 2015 – 2016 school year to A Stitch in Time because they believe in the mission of our organization and want to help the dedicated individuals who promote this noble cause of helping women around the world. They wish all the best to A Stitch in Time and will continue to support their endeavors and women around the world.

We thank these young adults for their generosity and encourage more young adults to continue to be involved in Global Health.

Thanks Herricks High School’s Indian Culture Club!
